Fuzzle
A downloadable game for Windows
Rules:
Match blocks to build attack meter. Lining up 3+ same colored blocks in a row (must be aligned by player) will cause a match. Matching will fill the attack bar of the same color. Attack the opponent until their health is at 0, or yours is greater than theirs upon Time Over.
Attacking:
Each attack meter has 3 Pips. If available, holding the corresponding attack button will charge an attack. Press the button without holding for a Light Attack (1 Pip). Hold then release the button for half a second for a Medium Attack (2 Pips). Hold then release the button for a full second or longer for a Heavy Attack (3 Pips). You can be hit while charging.
Defending:
If an enemy is charging an attack, hold the same color attack button to defend. Defending requires at least one pip of meter. If an enemy charges up an attack stronger than your defending meter, your meter will be drained on blocked hit and the remaining strength will be dealt as damage. Blocking with the same or more meter than your opponent will result in no health being lost.
Perfect Block:
Block at the same time an attack is released to do a Perfect Block. No damage will be taken, and you will instantly do a guaranteed light attack. Perfect Block requires only 1 Pip of the same attack being blocked, and works on any strength attack.
Controls:
Move Cursor/Move Block (When Selected): D-Pad / WASD
Select Block: A / Space Bar
Blue Charge Attack/Defend: X / J
Yellow Charge Attack/Defend: Y / K
Red Charge Attack/Defend: B / L
***Game requires at least 1 X-Input Gamepad to play with 2 players. Single keyboard will control both players and lead to glitches. Single Gamepad will always control Player 1 and Keyboard will control Player 2. Two Gamepads will control respective side in detection order. ***
